Fleep's Deep Thoughts Explore the Metaverse

Man, I can’t believe it’s been this long since my last update. Blame it on schoolwork and WoW.

I was just talking to my mom about the depressing state of affairs in the political world, but then a day like this comes along and I feel a little bit better about things. It’s really gorgeous outside, my bills are paid, the kitties are all in good health, and there isn’t anything I have to do today.

Here are a couple of the critters who live in my back yard.

Yesterday we gathered at Mother’s house for a mini-easter egg hunt with the JLCs and little baby Harmony (who truly is a holy terror on wheels). We ate good food, ate too much candy, and thankfully skipped Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this time. 😉

We had a birthday party for Kurt on Saturday and I’ve just put the pics up under Personal links on the right.

Liz and I kicked La Madre and Jennifer’s ass at canasta, but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the scorecard to prove it.

I just took a picture of the painting I’m working on with my new Canon A95 camera. I’m still trying to figure out all the camera settings for indoor lighting, but this is the best shot I have at the moment.

I was also messing around with the project/photo editing software that came bundled with the camera and made myself a cute March calendar page with the image. You should be able to save that file and drag it into a word doc (or perhaps print it with no margins or headers) to have your very own cute calendar page of a Fleep Original Painting. =)

What could be cuter?

I don’t know where the day went, it’s already after 5 and the rain has turned to snow which means I need to hurry up and get my butt home before the roads get slick.

Eventually I’d like this site to have some kind of theme or purpose, but for the time being I’m trying to just remember to post regularly. I’ve added some family pics and kitty pics under the links heading on the left. A couple of pictures are broken and I’m not sure why, but still that’s better than nothing, right?
